Pietro Gentile is a researcher and professor of plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Rome, “Tor Vergata,” Italy. He has a Ph.D. in regenerative surgery and is the past Chief of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Catholic University, Tirane, Albania. Since January 14, 2020, he is identified as a Top Italian Scientist (TIS) presenting an H-Index >31. He is the first Italian plastic surgeon to be classified as TIS. On September 17, 2020, he was selected as GEV (Expert Evaluator) by the National Agency for University and Research Evaluation (ANVUR).
