Dr. Peter T. Keo is the son of Cambodian political refugees and genocide survivors. He currently serves as senior research fellow for the Center for Compassion and Altruism Research and Education at Stanford University School of Medicine. He has held leadership, academic, and research roles for leading universities in the US and ASEAN, including the University of Pennsylvania, Harvard University, and the University of Cambodia, among other notable research institutions. Dr. Keo is the author of numerous publications and his work has appeared in leading peer-reviewed academic manuscripts, book chapters, editorials, reports, and other monographs. He holds a doctorate from Columbia University and master’s degrees from Harvard University and the University of Chicago.
