P. Sergius Koku is a Fulbrighter and a tenured full professor in the College of Business at Florida Atlantic University. He works on interdisciplinary issues including but not limited to poverty eradication, interface between finance and marketing, corporate governance, information asymmetry, healthcare economics, game theory, marketing and business issues in higher education, and the economics of boycotts and social activism. He regularly comments on boycotts and social activism in the national and international media. He has authored or co-authored two books, several book chapters and several dozens of articles in reputable peer-reviewed journals. Professor Koku holds a B.A (summa cum Laude) with a concentration in Finance from the University of the Virgin Islands. He also holds an MBA (Marketing) from Oregon State University, an MBA (Finance), MA (Applied Economics), and a Ph.D. in Finance and Marketing from Rutgers. Professor Koku is also an attorney who holds the Juris Doctor degree from the University of Miami, School of Law, and practices law pro bono.
