Pablo D. Giménez-Martínez holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences (2015) from the Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata (UNMdP, Argentina). BSc. Giménez-Martínez has been awarded a ANPCyT Doctoral Fellowship (2016-currently), under the direction of Dr. Dr. R. M. Alonso-Salces (CONICET-UNMdP) and Dr. M. Maggi (CONICET-UNMdP). The topic of his Doctoral Thesis deals with the use of by-products of the agro-food industry for the control of honey bee diseases, in particular American foulbrood, caused by the bacteria Paenibacilus larvae, and varroasis, by the parasitic mite Varroa destructor, in honey bee colonies. BSc. Giménez-Martínez is a coauthor in 3 research articles in peer reviewed scientific journals, 2 book chapters and in 10 communications to national and international conferences and scientific meetings. BSc. Giménez-Martínez is working actively in the transfer of scientific knowledge to apiculture companies in the region.
