Dr. Putha Prasad Kumar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Vallurupalli Nageswara Rao Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology (VNR VJIET), Hyderabad, India, with over 18 years of teaching experience. He holds an M.Tech. in Energy Systems from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering specializing in alternative fuels and advanced combustion systems. His research interests include solar desalination, biofuels, hydrogen energy, thermal engineering, heat transfer, nanotechnology, and advanced transportation systems. He has published over 15 research papers, filed several patent applications, and actively contributed to engineering education, interdisciplinary research, and student innovation.
