Dr. Orly Sela began her career as an English teacher, and taught English as a Foreign Language at all levels, both K-12 and academia. She currently teaches at Oranim Academic College of Education, Israel, where she serves as Head of the Final Papers and Theses Unit in the School of Graduate Studies, as well as the Head of the Center for Teaching Excellence, promoting activities aimed at improving the teaching skills of college instructors. She has published extensively both in Israel and internationally, in different educational domains. Her research interests are teachers' knowledge, teacher education, action research, qualitative research and the use of technology in education.
