Dr. Nurul Hamiruddin Salleh is an Associate Professor at the Department of Architecture, Kulliyyah of Architecture and Environmental Design (KAED), International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). He holds a PhD in Architecture (Building Conservation) from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), awarded in 2011, and a Master of Arts in Conservation Studies (Historic Buildings and Places) from the University of York, United Kingdom, completed in 2003. Dr. Nurul Hamiruddin’s research interests span architectural design, heritage building conservation, fire safety in buildings, construction technology, and universal design. He has been a Registered Conservator with the Department of National Heritage Malaysia since 2015.
