Nurçin Killi (Editor)

Assistant Professor, Department of Basic Sciences, Faculty of Fisheries, Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University.

Dr. Nurçin Killi graduated from Biology Department of Ege University (İzmir, Turkey) in 2002 and received her PhD in Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University, Faculty of Fisheries (Muğla, Turkey) in 2013. She has been working as an assistant professor since 2014. She is working on marine zooplankton ecology, jellyfish ecology, nematocyst morphology and jellyfish venom studies. Dr. Killi took part as coordinator and researcher in several national and international projects including The Scientific and technological Research Council of Turkey and European Commission SMAP III and Erasmus+ CBHE Projects. She was the author of over 55 scientific publications (articles, book chapters and conference papers). She lectures on the subjects about general biology, marine zooplankton, planktonology, marine biology, Cnidaria and Ctenophora biology for undergraduate and graduate levels.
