Nitza Schwabsky, PhD
Nitza Schwabsky (PhD) is a senior lecturer and director of the Masters’ Department of The management of educational systems at Gordon College of Education (GCE), Haifa, Israel as of 2009. Schwabsky earned her Ph.D. in Educational Policy and Management at the University of Oregon, USA, and her Post-doctorate in Public Management and Policy at the University of Haifa. Following her ESL teaching, she held positions of a field experience supervisor of foreign language teaching at the University of Oregon (GTF), followed by visiting scholarships at the University of Oregon (2003) and at the William & Mary College at Williamsburg, Virginia, hosted by Prof. Tschannen-Moran (2018). She teaches organizational behavior courses and leadership seminars. Schwabsky's current research interest is in the areas of teachers' citizenship behaviors (OCB and ICB), leader OCB (LOCB), teacher and principal attitudes and behaviors, as well as climates of “Vibrant Schools”.
