He was born on the 2nd of March in 1986 in Carrara (MS), Tuscany (Italy) and is currently a MD, a PhD and a specialist in Public Health. He has been awarded “Alfiere della Repubblica Italiana” (Young Knight of Italian Republic), by President Carlo Azeglio Ciampi (2nd June 2005) and received a Medal Degree from the University of Genoa, Genoa, Italy (2011).
He is author/coauthor of more than 140 scholarly articles, with a total impact factor greater than 300 and with a Hirsch-index greater than 13. He has written also many book-chapters and books. He has served/serves as editorial member of different peer-reviewed journals. He is a member of the “Cochrane Epilepsy” group. His research interests include evidence-based medicine, research methodology, epidemiology, advanced biostatistics and artificial intelligence, sports sciences, as well as history and philosophy of sciences.
He is an affiliated member to the “Laboratoire Etudes théologiques, Sciences Cognitives et Sociales”, Faculty of Literature and Humanistic Studies, Sais, Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University, Fez, Morocco, laboratory directed by Professor Hicham Khabbache. He has taught/teaches advanced statistics and psychometry at the Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University, Fez, Morocco.
Furthermore, Nicola Luigi Bragazzi is a scientific advisor of the UNESCO Chair on “Anthropology of health – Biosphere and Healing systems”, University of Genoa, Genoa, Italy.
