Nicholas Bolden, PhD is an Associate Professor of Public Administration and Policy at Columbus State University in the School of Policy, Justice, and Public Safety. His research focuses on the intersection of economic and workforce development policy and the social determinants of career mobility, educational attainment, and labor market outcomes, particularly as they relate to income inequality, poverty, and systemic disparities.

Dr. Bolden has published in several peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Economics and Sustainable Development and the Journal of Regional Analysis and Policy. He is co-author of Workforce Development: The Key to Prosperity in the 21st Century, a volume that investigates how education reform, registered apprenticeships, and fiscal policy initiatives can enhance workforce readiness in a global economy.
