Niamjit Das is a Research Fellow at the Center for Natural Resource Studies in Dhaka. He completed his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Forestry from the Department of Forestry & Environmental Science at Shahjalal University of Science & Technology, Bangladesh. With over 12 years of research experience, he has led and contributed to national and international funded projects, authored fifteen peer-reviewed journal articles, multiple book chapters, delivered numerous oral and poster presentations, and various newspaper and magazine pieces. His expertise spans forest and community ecology, biodiversity conservation, and climate change adaptation, employing computational tools and interdisciplinary strategies to deepen understanding of forest dynamics and ecosystem function.
