Necati Ağıralioğlu graduated with both a bachelor’s and a doctorate in Civil Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, in 1968 and 1977, respectively. He currently serves as a Professor at Antalya Bilim University, guiding over 50 graduate students. He has yielded 10 books in the field of water engineering.
