N.V.Kamanina is a Head of the Lab for “Photophysics of media with nanoobjects” at Vavilov State Optical Institute St.-Petersburg, Russia and Professor of the St.-Petersburg Electrotechnical University, where she is lecturing from 2002. She has been involved in the collaboration research with many researchers and scientists in the world since 1995 and published in the area of Laser-Matter Interaction and Nanotechnology in optics about 200 papers. Under her leadership 5 young scientists have defended their PhD theses and 20 Masters and Bachelors have received their Degree’s Diploma. Now her current interest regards to Nano- and Bio-Technology in Optics.
