Nani Raut, PhD is an Assistant Professor at Kathmandu University. She earned her PhD from Norwegian University of Life Sciences, Norway in 2012. Her expertise includes soil ecology; agriculture & food security; greenhouse gas emissions from soil; and global environmental change. She is involved in various international collaboration and multidisciplinary research mainly in the South and Southeast Asian region. She has more than four dozen scientific publications in environment and development issues, in international peer reviewed journals.
