Nadeem A. Ansari studied biotechnology in his post-graduation from Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Science & Technology, India and got first-hand exposure to the medical research ethos and environment during his dissertation work at Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU, India. He received his PhD with specialization in Biochemistry from JN Medical College, AMU, India in 2009 for probing a novel glycated polypeptide as an early diagnostic biomarker for diabetes mellitus, which resulted in his first major research publication in ASHI Journal of Human Immunology, Elsevier and research paper presentation at an International Congress on Molecular Medicine in Turkey with travel grant awarded from DST, India.

After that, he continued to explore and contribute to the area of glycated proteins in age-related diseases with his research project under award of UGC DS KOTHARI PDF, India. He has experience teaching biochemistry in various medical & dental Institutions of India including Sanjay Gandhi Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences. At present he is Assistant Professor and Subject Co-ordinator of Department of Biotechnology in Faculty of Engineering of KMC Language University, India. The fruitful outcome of his investigations was reflected by his research and review publications involving peer-reviewed journals of IUBMB Life, Disease Markers, Aging and Disease, and Glycobiology (Oxford University Press).
