Muna Fayyadh has received her BS and MS from Al-Nahrain University, Baghdad, Iraq in 1998 and 2002, respectively. She got her doctoral degree in computer science – cybersecurity concentration in 2019 from Colorado Tech University. She has worked as an instructor at Al-Nahrain University from 2001-2005. She worked as an IT specialist at the Ministry of Water Resources in Iraq from 2003-2013. From 2014-2018 she worked as an IT instructor for a private school in Houston, Texas. From 2018 – 2020 she worked in Houston as an adjunct professor (Grad level) at American Intercontinental University and Houston community college. She is the author of 15 papers and two books. Her main research interests are in cybersecurity and intrusion detection techniques, network security, machine learning, and AI.
