Dr. Lt General (Ret.) Mohd Aminul Karim is now a professor at the School of Business, Independent University, Bangladesh. His research interests are geopolitics, security, and the political economy of the Asia–Pacific, and has a particular interest in East and South Asian studies. His articles have appeared in Pacific Focus, Korean Journal of Defense Analysis, Japanese Journal of Political Science, Renewable Energy, Applied Research Quality of Life, Defense and Peace Economics, SAGE, BIISS Journal, etc
