I was born on January 12, 1982 in Zagreb, Croatia. I am married and the father of two children. In July 2007 I graduated from the Medical Faculty at the University of Zagreb . During my studies I received the Dean’s Award for the best scientific paper. In September 2007 I started an internship for health care professionals at the University Hospital Centre Zagreb, and in November 2008 passed the state exam and got the license for independent work. Since June 2008, I have been employed at the University of Zagreb as a research assistant on a science project at the department of Internal Medicine. Since then I’ve worked in the university hospital center in the clinic for cardiovascular diseases. During specialization, I’ve actively participated in the clinical and scientific work of the clinic. In particular, I focused on rhythmology and participated in the laboratory for electrophysiology. In 2009, I enrolled in a postgraduate doctoral studies program and defended doctoral dissertation. I participated in several research projects. I am the author of several scientific articles and several meeting abstracts indexed in the “Current Contents”. I participated in several clinical courses. In 2007, I participated at advanced life support, and since 2009 I am ALS instructor for ERC.
