Miroslawa Czerny, geography professor at the University of Warszaw, Faculty of Geography and Regional Studie, former director of the Institute of Regional and Global Studies (2006-2016), currently director of Department of Geography of Development and Spatial Planning, Former fellow from Alexander from Humboldt Foundation at the University of Tubingen, fellow of ACE PHARE Programme University of Oxford, invited professor (twice) at the University of Mainz, invited professor repeatedly at the University Autonomous of the State of Mexico, Toluca, and on different Latin-Americans universities (in Peru, Colombia, Cuba. Costa Rica, Venezuela, Argentina, Brasil, Bolivia). Her publications include 30 books and more than 150 papers.
