In 2005 he received the degree in Chemistry at the University of Bologna and at the same University he received in 2009 the Ph.D. in Chemical Science. From January 2009 to October 2011 he worked as post-doctoral researcher at the University of Piemonte Orientale. From October 2011 he works as researcher at Institute of Science and Technology for Ceramics of the National Research Council in Faenza. He published more than 50 scientific articles on national and international journals, 7 book chapters and 1 international patent. His research interests include: nanomaterials, calcium phosphates, biomaterials, drug delivery systems, biomineralization and nanomedicine.
