Michael Ramage, PhD, is the director of the Center for Computer and Information Technology at Murray State University. Dr. Ramage leads the Center’s research activities, facilitates the recruitment of new students, maintains relationships with industry, and oversees the planning and execution of special events. Currently, Dr. Ramage serves as president for the Technology Council of West Kentucky and on the boards of multiple non-profit organizations. Dr. Ramage earned his doctorate of philosophy in technology management from Indiana State University, as well as a master of science in telecommunications systems management and a bachelor of science in computer science, both from Murray State University. Before returning to academia, Dr. Ramage held multiple positions within the national technology non-profit Connected Nation, including project manager, executive director, and director of product development. While at Connected Nation, Dr. Ramage was the recipient of five state and federal grants totaling over $14 million.
