Meity Ardiana was born in Surabaya on May 3, 1977. She earned her medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Airlangga, in 2003. She completed her residency in Cardiology and Vascular Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Airlangga, in 2013. In 2016, she completed a fellowship–consultant program in Preventive and Rehabilitative Cardiology at the National Cardiovascular Center Harapan Kita, Jakarta. She obtained her PhD in Medical Sciences from the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Airlangga, in 2020. In 2025, she completed a fellowship–consultant program in Interventional Cardiology at Dr. Soetomo General Hospital, Surabaya. Currently, in addition to serving as a faculty member, she holds the position of Secretary of the Department of Cardiology and Vascular Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Airlangga. She is actively involved in the Working Group on Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation and the Hypertension Working Group of the Indonesian Society of Cardiology (PERKI). Meity Ardiana, PhD is a Fellow of the Indonesian Heart Association, the ASEAN College of Cardiology, the International College of Angiology, the European Society of Cardiology, and the Asian Pacific Society of Cardiology.
