Martin Pisárčik is an associate professor in macromolecular chemistry at the Department of Chemical Theory of Drugs at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Comenius University, Bratislava. He received his Ph.D. in macromolecular chemistry in 1992 at the Faculty of Chemical Technology, Slovak Technical University, Bratislava (Slovakia). He gained his professional experience during long-term research stays in the research groups in the field of colloid chemistry — University of Bayreuth, Germany, University of Nagoya, Japan and Brooklyn College, USA. His research interests are focused on the investigations of physicochemical and aggregation properties of biologically active systems based on cationic gemini amphiphiles utilizing various experimental techniques.
