Pele Maria is Professor in the Biotechnology Department at the UASVM, Bucharest – Romania. Her research topics are biotechnologies to obtaining and use of food enzymes, allergens, antibiotics, hormones and natural colorants, pollution, bioremediation and phytoremediation. She has published more than 250 papers. She is member of some international/national scientific associations.
