Maria Alejandra Madi

Maria Alejandra Caporale Madi has a Msc in Philosophy and PhD in Economics. She has made her career as an economist focusing on socio-economic development through financial and business sustainability. Author of papers, articles and books, including Global Finance and Development (Sanbun, India, 2014). She is the editor of books such as The Greening of Global Finance and The Greening of Latin America (Green Economics Institute,UK, 2013) and The Economics Curriculum: towards a radical reformulation (College Publications, UK, 2014) . She is currently Director of the Ordem dos Economistas do Brasil, Counselor of the Conselho Regional dos Economistas do Brasil-SP and Assistant Editor of the International Journal of Pluralism and Economics Education. Among other activities, she is also editor of the World Economics Association Pedagogy Blog and Chair of the WEA On Line Conferences. She is currently visiting Professor at UNIFESP and Avocational lecturer at Steinbeis University Berlin. Throughout her career, she has been Visiting Professor at University of Manitoba (Canada) and University of Kassel (Germany), Professor at Global Labor University and at UNICAMP (State University of Campinas).
