Dr. Manoj Kumar received the Ph.D. degree in Microbiology from National Dairy Research Institute, Karnal, India. After that, he joined the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) as Postdoctoral Researcher at the National Institute of Nutrition (NIN), Hyderabad. Later, he worked as a young scientist SERB with NIN. He is a Principle Investigator of research funding supported by DST and ICMR in India. He is currently a Scientist at ICMR-National Institute for Research in Environmental Health, Bhopal. He is member/life member of several national and International scientific societies and attended number of symposia/conferences in India and abroad and presented invited lectures /paper there. He serves on the editorial boards of several journals. As a researcher, he has authored more than 60 peer-reviewed papers in reputed journals and also several book chapters and popular articles. His research focuses on pollutants like endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs) and environmental dissemination of antibiotic resistance gene and their impact on human health.
