Dr. Loveleen Kaur is an assistant professor in the School of Biotechnology and Biosciences, Lovely Professional University, Punjab, India. She graduated from Lyallpur Khalsa College, Punjab, India and did her Master’s in Microbiology (University topper) with specilaization in industrial microbiology from Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, India. She did her Doctoral Research on Development of intraspecific and interspecific hybrids in Pleurotus spp. by protoplast fusion at Punjab Agricultural University. Dr. Kaur has authored and co-authored a number of papers in journals of national and international repute. She has also contributed book chapters for national and international publication houses. Her current areas of research include Bioremediation, Mycoremediation using edible fungi and Production of low-alcoholic self-carbonated beverages from fruits.
