Liudmila Shirokova, PhD (2007), is Assistant Professor of the University Paul Sabatier Toulouse and Senior Researcher at the N. Laverov Federal Center for Integrated Arctic Research (Russian Academy of Science). She works in limnology, experimental biogeochemistry of organic carbon in natural waters, phytoplankton and bacterial activity in soils and natural waters. She published over 40 papers in international peer-reviewed journals.
