Dr. Leslie Dale Feldman is Professor of Political Science at the Peter Kalikow School of Government at Hofstra University. She was a Bradley Fellow at Cornell University and has had visiting fellowships at Princeton University and the University of California at Berkeley sponsored by the National Endowment for the Humanities. She is the author of three other books on political themes in television, including: Spaceships and Politics: The Political Theory of Rod Serling, Rustics and Politics: The Political Theory of The Beverly Hillbillies and The Political Theory of I Love Lucy: Speed It Up! .

Dr. Leslie Dale Feldman is a recipient of the Distinguished Service Award from the New York State Political Science Association. She also received the Hofstra University Distinguished Faculty Award and was Hofstra’s 2012 Distinguished Faculty Lecturer.
