Lap Tuen Wong (PhD) is currently Head of the Centre for Academic and Professional Language Enhancement at Tung Wah College, Hong Kong. With over two decades of academic and management experience in tertiary education, Dr Wong has taught a wide range of language-related courses at both UGC-funded universities and self-financing institutions in Hong Kong, from sub-degree to postgraduate level. He has co-edited two scholarly volumes published by NOVA: one examining English language education in a global context and another investigating the teaching and learning of English for academic purposes. He has also published work on effective language teaching and learning and postsecondary education in Hong Kong. In addition, Dr Wong has served as a Specialist (Education and Languages) for the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications.
