Khaled Taktek (Ph.D.) is currently an Associate Professor at Laurentian University’s School of Education in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. He also previously held an Associate Professor position with the Military Psychology and Leadership Department at the Royal Military College of Canada. His research interests include educational psychology, peace education, fitness and health, Canadian and American military training, and exercise and sport psychology. The recipient of various grants and awards, Dr. Taktek was recently selected for a 2014-2015 Canada-US Fulbright Scholar Award at the United States Military Academy, West Point, New York, where he also received a Medallion of Excellence from the Dean of the Academic Board. Dr. Taktek is the President of Laurentian University’s Annual Congress in Education. He has published and presented over 100 refereed articles and conference papers for national and international journals and associations.
