Dr. Kevin R. Spiker earned his Ph.D. in political science from West Virginia University and his undergraduate degree from The Pennsylvania State University. He is an associate professor of political science at Ohio University.

With Professor Whisker he has co-authored series on the history of Bedford County, Pennsylvania, the alien tort statute, and command responsibility. They also completed publications on the death penalty. His teaching areas include areas of American political institutions and the American presidency.
