Dr. Kavita Munjal is an Assistant Professor of Pharmacognosy & Phytochemistry at Amity Institute of Pharmacy, Amity University, Noida (Uttar Pradesh). She is an academic researcher with more than 10 years of experience in the field of natural product chemistry. Her research interests include the isolation of natural products, formulation and drug design.

Dr. Munjal earned a very high percentile score in the GPAT test. Additionally, she qualified for the National Eligibility Test (NET) for Assistant Professor in 2019. She is a recipient of the Senior Research Fellowship from ICMR, Delhi and Research Grant Award from BIRAC-SRISTI, Ahmedabad. Furthermore, she is a member of the Ayurveda Sectional Committee, under the Ayush Department of Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).

Dr. Kavita has almost 35 publications in peer reviewed and SCOPUS-indexed journals, with four major research publications in Lancet, 12 book chapters and three patents. She has presented her research at several international and national conferences. She has earned the Best Paper Award in ICRMR Malaysia in 2018, the Best Oral Presentation Award in 2019, and the Dr. PD Sethi Best Paper Award in 2020.
