Prof. (Dr.) Kaushik Pal is an Indian citizen born in Kolkata. He holds the title of Distinguished Research Professor at Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and acts as Distinguished Chair Professor and Group Leader (Chief-Scientist & Faculty Fellow) at Wuhan University, Hubei Province, Republic of China. Before, he worked as a Visiting Professor at IIUCN, School of Energy Materials, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala. As a full-time Research Professor in the Department of Nanotechnology, he worked at Bharath University (BIHER), Chennai from 2017 to 2019. Most recently, he achieved the Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) honorary award from Malasia in this 2020. He completed his doctorate (Ph.D.) from University of Kalyani. His most significant prestigious awards are the “Marie-Curie Experienced Researcher (Postdoctoral Fellow)” offered by the European Commission in Greece and the “Brain Korea (BK-21) National Research Foundation Visiting Scientist Fellowship” in South Korea. He was appointed “Senior Postdoctoral Fellow” at Wuhan University, China and within a year achieved a prestigious position “Chief-Scientist & Faculty Fellow” by Chinese Academy of Science. He supervises a significant number of Ph.D. and Postdoctoral scholar’s theses. He has published around 70 articles in several international top-tier journals.
