Dr Kaliyaperumal Ashokkumar presently works as Assistant Professor (Contract) in Plant Breeding and Genetics from Kerala Agricultural University, Cardamom Research Station, Pampadumpara, Idukki, Kerala, India. He has completed his Post-Doctoral Research Fellow (2010-2014) from the Department of Plant Sciences, University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, Canada. He published about 75 scientific articles, including high impact factor international journals. He obtained nine awards from conference participation and his outstanding contributions to agricultural research. His current research interests are phytochemistry, molecular breeding, nutrition and metabolomics.
