K. Rajalakshmi completed her education in speech and Hearing (Ph. D in Speech & Hearing) from the premier institution of Speech and Hearing in Mysore, India. She has been teaching in the same institute for the last 25 years. Rajalakshmi's passion to music prompted her to carry out few research studies on musicians and she still wants to dedicate her quality time to understand why musicians are superior to non musicians in many aspects of auditory and language processing.
