Joshua J Malago is an immunopathologist with enormous interest in gut immunity. His work focuses on cellular and molecular mechanisms of intestinal epithelial cell defense. He has published several articles on how microbiota and its products protect the intestinal epithelium against various forms of stress especially infections and diseases.
