José Tadeu Marques Aranha holds a PhD from the School of Geography, Kingston University (UK) and he is an Associate Professor with Habilitation of the Dept. of Forestry and Landscape, University of Tras-os-Montes e Alto Douro (UTAD). He is an Integrated Member of the CITAB (Center for the Research and Technology of Agro-Environmental and Biological Sciences) and his Scientific activity has been focused on GIS applied to agroforestry activities: Fire Hazard Mapping, Ecosystem Services, Forest Biomass.
