Dr. Delgado-López received his degree in Chemistry at the University of Jaén in 2002 and the PhD thesis, which was awarded with two prizes, at the University of Alicante in 2008. Then he moved to the Instituto Andaluz de Ciencias de la Tierra (IACT, CSIC-UGR) where he is currently working as researcher. He has published more than 30 scientific articles on international journals, 3 book chapters and 1 international patent. He is interested in the design of novel routes for the preparation and characterization of multifunctional nanoparticles and organinc/inorganic composites as biomaterials to be used in medicine (i.e., as nanocarriers for controlled drug delivery and in regenerative medicine).
