Dr. John Charema is Director of Education at Mophato Education Centre in Francistown, Botswana. He received his PhD in Support Guidance and Counseling from the University of Pretoria. He also has a Master‘s Degree in Conflict Transformation and Management from Nelson Mandela University and a Master‘s Degree in Special Education from the University of Manchester. He has authored two books and co-authored several others. Dr. Charema has several publications in the field of Counseling, Special Needs, Peace Studies and Health and Wellness. He is a consulting editor for several journals and a member of the Board for Learning Disabilities Worldwide as well as the International Association of Special Education. Currently, Dr. Charema also serves as a supervisor for Ph.D. students studying with the Zimbabwe Open University.
