Jesús Rodrigo Comino obtained his PhD at the University of Málaga (Spain) in Geography in 2018. Currently, he is working at Trier University (Germany) as a manager on the European INTERREG-project: Smart Light-HUB and as a Grant holder of the COST-Action: CA18135 Firelinks at Valencia University (Spain). He has written two books related to soil geography and geomorphology, presented several oral conferences and posters in international meetings, and published more than 100 indexed peer-reviewed papers. He is editor-in-chief of Air, Soil and Water Research (SAGE). Also, he is a reviewer for more than 110 international indexed journals. His major topics are land degradation and soil geography.
