Jennifer Pomeroy is an Assistant Professor of Geography at York College of Pennsylvania (USA). She teaches physical geography, human geography, and geo-spatial technology (Geographic Information Systems) courses. Prior to join York College, she was an Assistant Professor (tenure track) of Chinese Mandarin at Defense Language Institute of Department of Defense, Monterey, CA. She earned her Ph D in Geography in 2012 from the Department of Geographical Sciences of University of Maryland, College Park, received her M.A. in Geography/Planning in 1999 from the University of Akron, OH. Being a Chinese-American, she developed an interest in applying geographical approach studying international relations and intelligence analysis.
