Before joining WCM-Q, Dr. Sheikh built a distinguished career as a Professor of Psychiatry and Associate Dean at Stanford University, with pioneering investigations of anxiety disorders, particularly the use of first-generation wearables and sleep mattresses for assessments of stress in natural settings.

Most recently, Dr. Sheikh has established an AI Center for Precision Health at WCM-Q with a mission to leverage AI-based refined data analytics and algorithms for detecting signals from large volumes of data from mobile apps, wearable sensors, and electronic health records (EHR) to facilitate optimal physical and emotional health and to design precision digital therapeutics for anxiety and depression.
