Cizdziel: Born and raised in Buffalo, NY; Dr. Cizdziel completed his Ph.D. in Environmental Chemistry in 1997. His work centers on analytical, environmental, and forensic chemistry, and he has pioneered analytical methods involving trace elemental analysis, 3D-printed firearms, unmanned aerial vehicles, and the biogeochemical cycling of mercury. He has authored >50 peer-reviewed publications and has been PI on grants from the US NSF, EPA, and DOE.
