James Marcum earned doctorates in physiology from the University of Cincinnati Medical College and philosophy from Boston College. He was a faculty member at Harvard Medical School before joining Baylor’s philosophy department. He has authored almost 150 articles and book chapters, along with nine single-authored books and two edited books.
