Jalaj Garg, MD (Editor)

Dr. Garg received his medical degree from J.S.S Medical College, India in March 2010 and then completed internal medical residency at Westchester Medical Center, New York Medical College, NY in June 2014. He then joined Cardiovascular Diseases fellowship at Lehigh Valley Health Network, PA starting July 2014. He is currently a PGY6 chief cardiology fellow at Lehigh Valley Health Network. He is scheduled to join Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital, as a fellow in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology, beginning July 2017. He is board certified in internal medicine, adult echocardiography and cardiac computerized tomography. He has authored 46 manuscripts, co-editor of a book and has presented numerous abstracts and oral presentations both at national and international conferences. He is a member of the editorial board for the 5 journals and also serves as a peer-reviewer for several high impact publications. He has expertise in the analyses from large national databases including Nationwide Inpatient Sample (NIS), National Re-admission database (NRD) and meta-analyses. His research interests include cardiac arrhythmias, atrial fibrillation, ablation, anticoagulation, cardiac arrest and arrhythmias in cardiomyopathy.
