Professor Jaipaul Singh obtained his PhD (1978) from St Andrews University in Scotland and his DSc (2011) from University of Lancashire in England. He has 53 years of teaching, research and management experiences from Secondary School to University level. He published over 400 research papers, supervised 78 research students and examined over 150 candidates for MRes, MD and PhD awards. His research interest is on diabetic cardiomyopathy and plant-based medicine to treat diabetes and cancer.
