Jacob U’Mofe Gordon, Ph.D., LLD (Hon) is Professor Emeritus, University of Kansas; former Kwame Nkrumah Endowed Chair, University of Ghana; and a founding Life Member of the African Studies Association of Africa (ASAA). His publications include 26 books in addition to book chapters and articles in academic journals. He is a recipient of numerous national and international awards, including the most recent: the International Education Partnership Award presented by the KU School of Languages, Literatures, and Cultures in August 2019.
