I received the MSc in Mechanics from the Rostov State University (Rostov-on-Don, Russia) in 1978, the PhD in Physics and Mathematics from the Rostov State University in 1990 and the DrSc in Techniques from the South-Russian State Technical University (Novocherkassk, Russia) in 2008. I am Corresponding Member of the Russian Engineering Academy (2014). I am head of Research Grants and Programs from Soros Foundation, COBASE (USA), RSF, RFBR and Russian Ministry for Science and Education (1993-2024). I have above 500 scientific-technical publications among them 44 monographs; 14 Russian and Soviet patents and 4 certificates on Russian state registration of programs for computer. My developments were awarded 34 gold medals and special awards of African American, Asian, and European international exhibitions. I was co-chair of 14 International conferences in different Asian countries. I am member of the Editorial Board, editor of special issues and reviewer of the Journal of Advanced Dielectrics (from 2020); reviewer of 29 journals of MDPI Multidisciplinary Digital Publishing Institute from 2020 (above 130 reviews) and editor of special issues; member of The Indian Structural Integrity Society from 2016; expert of the INTAS (2004), FP-7 (2010), ERA-NET RUS (2011, 2015), Russian Academy of Science expert (from 2016), the Russian Foundation for Basic Research expert (from 2017), Russian Science Foundation expert (from 2018, (above 130 reviews) and Russian Federal expert of scientific-technical area (2012-2021). I have honorary title “Honorary Member of the All-Russian Society of Inventors and Rationalizers” (2008).
